One of my favorite sit down restaurants in Frankfort. The staff are always very friendly, the food is never cold when I receive it, and they're always happy to accommodate me. The servers are polite, it's never too noisy even on a busy day, and the restrooms are sparkling clean, which is a big deal for someone like me with OCD related germophobia.
Spend $5 in gas/fuel and drive to Kokomo or Lafayette.
I got a beef burrito, which I thought would be a safe choice... I was wrong. The meat tasted like it was seasoned using a packet that comes with taco shells from Walmart, and there was cheddar cheese melted across the top. The beans were bland (hard to do with beans), and the rice was as far from Spanish rice as it could get. The queso was literally melted cheese with no other vegetables or spices, and the salsa tasted like red water.
The food was awesome. Their 5.99 special is hard to beat. Great lunch.

Usually a pretty pleasant dining experience but just awful. Waitress may have been new but right off the bat told me they didn't have an alcoholic drink menu and couldn't name any drinks they offered. Or answer any question I had in general. Then when we politely asked for beans on the food instead of beef because my fiance is vegetarian she proceeds with "so you want all meat"? Just shouldn't work somewhere like that when you can't comprehend basic questions. Food is normally fantastic but we never got there.
Whenever I have a little extra money and I have the energy to go out and do things I always put Pepe's on my 'to do' list!
The best part of my meal was my Coke.
Whenever one of the servers gets my table he remembers my order and that I can't have chocolate sauce in my mudslide due to my allergy. I always get the same thing, so I suppose that likely helps with remembering what I like.
