One of my fav places on earth
Been twice since moving out here. Went once last summer with my 11 year old, his Cousin CJ, and another boy. We didn't catch anything but the boys had a good time. Second time was yesterday and myself, my wife, daughter, and her Cousin Day day went hiking. Girls had a good time. Saw some beautiful birds. An older gentleman had snagged a turtle accidentally so I helped him free it. He had already caught 4 sun fish and was casting out to complete his limit. I don't know how long he'd been there but he had 4 fish in his bucket by 4pm. He was using meal worms.
It's a hole. But it's where you go fishing when you don't intend to keep what you catch.
I've caught bigger fish in Prairie Creek
The lagoons are overfished overpopulated by Canadian geese and there is goose poop everywhere
